About Assiddiq

Serving Edmonton's Muslim community since 2017 — built by families, for families.

Congregation at Assiddiq Islamic Foundation

Our Mission

تحفيز الأسرة المسلمة للانخراط في الأنشطة الدعوية

Da'wah, Tarbiyah & Ta'leem

To serve as a centre of Da'wah, Tarbiyah, and Ta'leem, nurturing faith within youth, individuals, families, and new Muslims with compassion, and engaging society through knowledge, wisdom, and good character.

Our Vision

To be a leading Islamic institution in nurturing strong reformers — Muslihin — who embody and spread Islamic values, working to bring positive change within society.

For over eight years, Assiddiq has been a pillar for Muslims in Edmonton. From humble beginnings to a community center serving hundreds of families, our journey is defined by service and trust.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

What matters to us.

شفافية

Transparency

We share our finances, decisions, and plans openly. You should know exactly where your donations go.

تنوع

Diversity

Our community includes families from all over the world. Everyone is welcome here, no matter where you come from.

الإيمان

Faith

Everything we do is rooted in the Quran and Sunnah. That's our foundation, and it always will be.

التزكية

Purification

We believe in working on ourselves — our character, our habits, our hearts. That's what Tazkiyah is about.

العلم

Knowledge

Learning doesn't stop after school. We offer classes for every age because seeking knowledge is a lifelong journey.

الحكمة

Wisdom

We try to lead with wisdom — making thoughtful decisions, listening to our community, and learning from experience.

Our Journey

Building Together

How we got here.

2017

Foundation & Roots

Established by a small group of dedicated families to provide essential prayer services and Islamic education in a rapidly growing area of south Edmonton.

2019

Growth & Expansion

Expanded to offer weekend schools, youth programs, and social services. Formally registered as a charity to better serve the broader community.

Present Day

A Community in Need of Space

With about 200 students and only three classrooms, we're outgrowing our current space. We're fundraising for a new, larger center to serve even more families.
